Pure Kitchen- Ottawa, ON

Pure Kitchen is one of my (and so many other locals') go to spot. It's very central and close to my place (I could bike there in 20 minutes). Located in the vegan/ health conscious hub of Ottawa, Westboro, pure is a great spot to meet friends for a juice, lunch or dinner. [357 Richmond Ottawa, ON, K2A 0E7]

They have amazing food that is all vegetarian and mostly vegan (or vegan options) and mostly gluten free too! I'd say its a great place to bring people who aren't necessarily vegan to try veganized foods. They serve burgers, bowls, cauliflower wings, poutine, fries, salads and wraps! 

I rarely have deep-fried foods at all anymore so if you are like me and stay away from oil overloads or fried foods, Pure has some options for you too. I've tried 3 of the 4 wraps in collards with a side salad (Transformed kale caesar is my favourite). Theses are my GO TO because they are mostly greens and the least amout of oil from what I can tell, but still so flavourful and delicious!

Now, if you are looking to try some good vegan food and you don't care if its deep fried or looking for a bit of a cheat, I can recommend basically everything on the menu. My favourite are the Belle Poutine, the Playful Onion Rings and the Awesome Burger. You can choose to make everything vegan and sub nut cheese or the tofu cheese curds for the Poutine. It's REALLY good- a healthier play on a Canadian special.. and veganized! The Cauliflower wings are AMAZING too. I highly recommend them for sure! 

All in all, awesome place, great vibe, genuine service, happy workers and delicious food! If you are in Ottawa, check it out!
