Looks nasty right? I know. It tastes like a regular smoothie though! 

What gives it the dark colour? A mix of spirulina and berries. (blueberries & blackberries). All healthy good stuff!! Don't judge a drink by its colour.

I also used persimmons in this shake. They are super sweet if they are ripe so you probably only need 1/2 of one or a small one!! Click here to learn more about persimmons and how to prepare them!

Blend together:
- 1 organic Banana
- 1/2 persimmon
- 1 cup frozen berries
- handful of organic spinach
- 1  cup Almond milk (add more if needed) 
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 1 tsp chia seeds
